Amanda has proven her ability to foster positive organizational change through her roles in program management and client-facing positions in both private and not-for-profit sectors. Her leadership is evident in her cross-functional collaboration and solution-focused approaches. Her skills in program development, policy creation, project management, stakeholder engagement, and strategic planning make her a versatile asset.
Amanda's commitment to professional development is evident in her certifications. As a Project Management Professional (PMP®), Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC), and Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®), she excels in managing projects with a focus on accessibility. Her involvement with her City’s Accessibility Advisory Committee and advocacy for marginalized populations further demonstrate her commitment to inclusivity.
Amanda's professional journey includes roles such as Academic Accommodations and Accessibility Specialist, Operations Associate, Program Coordinator, Counsellor, and business owner. She consistently demonstrates leadership, quality assurance, process improvement, and a commitment to creating inclusive environments.

Fun facts: Outside of her professional pursuits, Amanda is just like any of us, with her own set of hobbies and interests. She finds solace in hiking, enjoys the nostalgia of retro gaming, and is always eager to explore new technologies. Her travel bucket list, which includes the Galapagos Islands, Thailand, Spain, and Denmark, is a testament to her adventurous spirit. She is also a very amateur figure skater and an abysmal acrylic painter, reminding us that it's important to do things we love for the sake of loving them without always meticulously pursuing greatness. She has yet to make it through the entire first episode of Game of Thrones without falling asleep despite trying six or more times, and her music library consists entirely of whatever Prime Music throws at her on any given day.

Fun facts: Brian Sterling has a modest digital music collection with over 10,000 tracks spanning numerous genres. A prolific PC gamer, he has recently taken to mastering Beat Saber on Meta Quest. He recently downsized his home lab to ONLY four physical computers, focusing on efficiency and simplicity. Brian enjoys spending quality time with his son building Lego kits, with their most recent projects being Lego Mindstorms, Lego Optimus Prime, and the Dune Royal Ornithopter. Despite its popularity, Brian detests the hit show "The Office."
